Our Picnic in the Park, which took place on Saturday 18 August at Conker Island, Kingstanding was another success.

We had a really good turnout and lots of support from community members and organisations, we've had some encouraging feedback too, which makes all the effort everyone put in to making it an enjoyable day all the more worthwhile.

“The picnic in the park that I went to on Saturday the 18th on Conker Island had a lovely turn out there were games for the kids, face painting, music, food and a bouncing castle. The kids loved it and my child loved it too, she met a lot of new friends she really enjoyed it. There should be more events like this for the community where people can meet new people and be as one, it was a beautiful day”
